Due to the contact angle of 60°, they can support high axial forces.

Angular contact ball bearings  BAX are super precision angular contact ball bearings to accuracy class P4S for main spindle bearing arrangements in machine tools. They are always supplied as ready-to-fit sets.

Increased load carrying capacity normally brings with it a reduction in the maximum speed. Through the use of angular contact ball bearings BAX, it is possible to fulfil both requirements to a large extent.

The bearings are available with a contact angle of 30° and, for even higher rigidities, also with a contact angle of 40°.
